These hats are made from high quality rawhide leathers. Each hat will have various scars, scratches, and marks of different degrees, which are characteristic of the Australian outback style and are highly sought after as evidence of genuine, rawhide leather.
Mono-filament support is embedded into the edge of the brim, allowing the hat to be crushed and maintain its distinctive curved styling. The degree of curve will vary from hat to hat and generally increase with time.
This great hat can be rolled up, crushed, and packed. It offers 97% UV protection and will protect you from the sun's damaging rays while improving your look.
The hat's brim is approximately 36cm (14") from front to back and 8cm (3") from the crown to the tip. The crown height is approximately 10cm (4"), which will vary between sizes.
All hats are hand-made in Australia and are unique, although similar to each other.
After some wear, your hat will form to your head shape and size. The hat's individual character will emerge, influenced by you and the elements around you. A perfect fit is not necessary when new.
